As part of D&D London‘s group wide January campaign “Waste not, Want more” which focuses on sustainability and food waste, next door Old Bengal Bar have created the ultimate up-cycled cocktail available on their menu throughout January – The Scraping of the Barrel Bloody Mary!
This cocktail sees the classic Bloody Mary created with the following waste ingredients that would otherwise have been discarded, helping to prevent food waste: Celery salt (home made with celery stalks); dehydrated tomatoes (no longer suitable for salads); wilted herbs (rosemary, thyme, sage), all spice flavoured vodka, shot of pickled juice (from gherkins used for the burger garnish).
